John is a Partner in the Audit Department for Grimaldi & Nelkin.  He is a Certified Public Accountant, Certified in Financial Forensics, Certified Fraud Examiner, and also a Certified Valuation Analyst. John has extensive training and experience in the areas of fraud detection and prevention, and in the evaluation of internal controls of businesses.  John also performs audits and reviews of private and closely held corporations, family-owned businesses in the retailing and manufacturing industries.

Prior to joining Grimaldi & Nelkin, John was Proprietor of his own accounting firm for two years, as well as having experience with another regional accounting firm for seven years. Prior to establishing his sole proprietorship, John was the controller for the largest privately held waste removal company in the Northeast. He was responsible for all aspects of the financial data and reporting for three companies with combined annual revenues of over twenty-eight million dollars.
